Lavazza, the legendary Italian coffee roaster, signed a landmark partnership deal with American Airlines. Beginning in early 2026, the family-owned company will become the exclusive coffee provider for the airline, bringing its premium blends to millions of travelers both in the air and on the ground in American's Flagship® and Admirals Club® lounges worldwide. 

This collaboration marks a pivotal moment for Lavazza, allowing the 130-year-old brand to deliver its authentic Italian coffee experience to one of the world's largest airlines. For American Airlines customers, it promises a consistent, high-quality cup of coffee throughout their journey, a touch of Italian craftsmanship at 30,000 feet.

Founded in Turin in 1895 and still owned by the Lavazza family for four generations, the Group has grown from a local grocery store to a leading global player in the coffee scene. Its presence in 140 markets and an astounding output of over 30 billion cups a year testify to its worldwide appeal and production prowess. This partnership with American Airlines is a natural extension of its existing presence in top-tier restaurants and hotels, placing its premium blends at the heart of the modern travel experience.
