To mark three decades of operations in Vietnam, Nestlé has announced an additional investment of 75 million to upgrade and expand its Nestlé Trị An factory in Đồng Nai Province. This latest commitment brings the company’s total investment in the country to approximately $904 million, reinforcing its long-term vision for Vietnam’s sustainable growth.
The Trị An factory is one of Nestlé’s most advanced coffee processing plants worldwide, exporting products to over 29 countries. It is the only Nestlé facility globally that produces the company’s entire coffee portfolio, including Nescafé, Nescafé Dolce Gusto, Nespresso, Blue Bottle, and Starbucks. Additionally, it serves as Nestlé’s largest global production site for decaffeinated coffee products.
The investment was announced at Nestlé Vietnam’s 30th-anniversary celebration, where the company received two prestigious accolades:
• A Certificate of Meritfrom the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, recognizing its contributions to agricultural and rural development (2019–2024).
• A Certificate of Meritfrom the Đồng Nai Provincial People’s Committee, honoring its long-standing partnership and positive impact on the local community.
Binu Jacob, Managing Director of Nestlé Vietnam, reaffirmed the company’s dedication: “This investment reflects our confidence in Việt Nam’s potential and our commitment to its sustainable development. Over the past 30 years, we have prioritized investments in human capital, technology, and sustainability. Moving forward, we will continue delivering high-quality nutrition, fostering shared-value initiatives, and improving lives across Việt Nam.”
Since entering Vietnam in 1995, Nestlé has grown to employ 2,300 people and operates four factories, producing coffee, malt beverages, cooking aids, and bottled water.
