Taco Bell, a fast-food giant introduced the permanent addition of a full Cold Brew lineup at its Live Más Café locations, complete with flavored cold foams designed to challenge the established players in the daily coffee ritual.
Rolling out May 21 at cafes across Houston, Dallas, Las Vegas and Southern California, the new offerings mark Taco Bell's first-ever foray into cold brew—and a strategic push to capture a slice of the lucrative morning beverage market.
"We've spent decades building a bold flavor legacy at Taco Bell, and now we're bringing that same innovative mindset to coffee at Live Más Café," said Liz Matthews, Taco Bell's Global Chief Food Innovation Officer. "As we continue to build the Café experience, Cold Brew and Cold Foams felt like the natural next step – bringing a flavor-forward, premium coffee experience into fans' everyday routines."

The new permanent lineup features a base Cold Brew made from a proprietary blend of medium and dark roast Arabica beans sourced from Latin America. The slow cold extraction process yields a balanced, low-acid profile that the company says is smooth and easy to sip.
• Purple Velvet Cream Cold Brew (4.59/4.59/4.99): The signature cold brew topped with a creamy foam infused with warm horchata notes and finished in Taco Bell's distinctive purple hue.
• Caramel Dulce Cream Cold Brew (4.59/4.59/4.99): A buttery caramel-infused cold foam layered over the cold brew base.
• Vanilla Cream Cold Brew (4.59/4.59/4.99): Velvety vanilla cream cold foam adds a lightly sweet finish.
The cold brew launch is more than a seasonal summer offering. It represents a concrete step toward Taco Bell's ambitious goal of reaching $5 billion in annual beverage sales by 2030, as the brand seeks to expand into new dayparts and drinking occasions.
The company is no stranger to breakfast hours at its traditional locations, but the Live Más Café concept—a more beverage-forward experience—signals a more deliberate push into coffee culture.
Taco Bell, founded by Glen Bell in Downey, California in 1962, now operates more than 8,200 restaurants worldwide, over 94% of which are owned and operated by independent franchisees. The chain serves an estimated two billion customers annually and is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, the corporate successor to PepsiCo's former restaurant division.
