KitchenAid is expanding its espresso collection with a new line of fully automatic machines designed to perfect both hot and iced coffee drinks. Available in three models starting May 4, the new KitchenAid Fully Automatic Espresso Machines with Iced Coffee feature a specialized over-ice setting that brews at a lower temperature, allowing coffee lovers to create light, refreshing beverages that won't turn bitter or watery when poured over ice.

The new lineup arrives as home coffee culture continues to evolve beyond the traditional morning cup. Chadwick Ries, Global Head of Product, Brand and Insights for KitchenAid Small Appliances, explained that the company designed these machines to help people explore a world of coffee at home in an easy, intuitive way. From perfectly brewed iced coffee to classic espresso drinks, the compact machine promises variety, performance and quiet operation in a format that fits effortlessly into any home.

Introducing the KitchenAid® Fully Automatic Espresso Machines with Iced Coffee

Each model brings something different to the countertop. The KF2, priced at $799.99, includes a Panarello Auto Steam Wand for those who want to play barista themselves. The KF3 at $999.99 and KF4 at $1,299.99 step up with the AutoMilk System, which produces silky foam for cappuccinos or creates flat whites that rival coffee shop versions with just a few touches. All three machines have earned Quiet Mark certification, making them some of the quietest espresso machines available, so early morning grinding and brewing won't disturb a peaceful household.

The machines also feature IntelliGrind and Aroma Balance Systems, which automatically respond to each bean's unique characteristics including size, density, and roast level. This compensation ensures consistently great coffee without requiring users to become amateur roasters. With up to 24 preset recipe options ranging from bold espresso to Americano, iced espresso, flat white, and more, coffee lovers can tap their way to dozens of hot and iced beverages without complicated setup or steep learning curves.

Space-conscious home cooks will appreciate that these new models are 25 percent smaller than KitchenAid's existing KF6, KF7, and KF8 fully automatic espresso machines, yet the brand insists there is no compromise on performance. The space-saving design brings quality espresso to the countertop without demanding excessive real estate. Together, these features reflect KitchenAid's broader approach to making both hot and iced espresso drinks easier to enjoy at home, without adding complexity to everyday routines. The new machines will be available for purchase on KitchenAid.com starting May 4, offering something for everyone from first-time espresso drinkers to everyday coffee enthusiasts.
