Brewing Gratitude: happy® Coffee Donates One Million Cups to Fuel Educators Nationwide

In a heartwarming infusion of caffeine and appreciation, happy®, the lifestyle coffee brand co-founded by Robert Downey Jr. and entrepreneur Craig Dubitsky, has announced a massive donation of one million cups of coffee to teachers and school staff across the United States. The initiative, launched in partnership with the National PTA, aims to deliver a "seriously delicious™" thank you to the educators who dedicate themselves to shaping young minds. 

Dubbed a "heartfelt and caffeinated thank you," the donation will see happy®'s signature coffee pods distributed to over 350 schools in 37 states, providing a much-needed boost to faculty lounges for the remainder of the school year. The collaboration recognizes the immense, often under-celebrated, effort educators pour into their work daily.

"This partnership with National PTA is about more than just coffee; it's about showing up for the people who show up for our kids every single day," said a happy® spokesperson. "If we can help fuel their mornings and bring a moment of bright, beautiful delight to their routine, then we’re living our mission." 

The million-cup donation is not an isolated gesture but part of happy®'s broader, ongoing campaign to support educator well-being. This past spring, during the aligned observances of Teacher Appreciation Week and Mental Health Awareness Month, the brand initiated a dual-focused effort. In partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), happy® provided free coffee alongside specially designed mental-health resource posters for teacher lounges. These posters offer practical guidance on recognizing signs of distress and connecting colleagues to vital support resources. 

happy®’s commitment to being present in the education community was further demonstrated at the 2025 New York State PTA Convention in Niagara Falls, where they fueled conversations and camaraderie with their coffee and continued to distribute mental health awareness materials.

Looking ahead, the brand is set to amplify its support next week with the announcement of a special "Teacher's Lounge Makeover" giveaway for one deserving school, promising to extend its philosophy of elevating the everyday into the very spaces where educators recharge.
