UCDA Announces the Death of Mr. Edmund Kananura Kyerere, Director Quality and Regulatory Services
The
Management and staff of UCDA of Uganda announced the death of Mr. Edmund
Kananura Kyerere, Director Quality and Regulatory Services which occurred on
the morning of Sunday 18th April 2021. Edmund was a well known figure to the international coffee community particularly buyers who frequented to Uganda for business and meetings.
UCDA shall have a condolence book at Coffee House and the UCDA Lugogo office all week for those who wish to pay their last respects in Uganda. Anyone from abroad may visit the official facebook page and leave the comments.
CGM's expresses its condolence to the family on the passing of Edmund. May his soul rest in peace.
Coffee makes up 15% of Uganda’s total exports and accounts for the bulk of its export revenue, according to the development authority. The country now becomes the top coffee exporter in Africa.
