In a year marked by strategic growth and innovation, Beans & Brews Coffee House firmly established its momentum beyond its Salt Lake City roots. The growing franchise celebrated a milestone 2025, successfully executing a 15% expansion target by opening 11 new locations across key Western markets. This growth extended its footprint not only within its home state of Utah but also significantly in Texas, with entries into both the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Houston, alongside continued development in Nevada. The brand also announced forthcoming expansion in Idaho, signaling robust confidence in its franchise model and long-term development strategy.

“2025 was an important year for Beans & Brews,” said CEO Doug Willmarth. “We delivered on our growth target, strengthened our franchise relationships, and continued to evolve our menu while staying true to our roots.” This evolution was notably accelerated by the strategic addition of Chef Becca McIntyre as Vice President of Supply Chain and Culinary. Her expertise proved instrumental, particularly in revamping the brand’s cold brew program, which subsequently saw sales double and attracted a new wave of customers.
Building on this momentum, the brand launched a series of innovative drinks anchored by its signature small-batch, High-Altitude Roasting process. New beverage platforms and limited-time offerings were designed to meet shifting consumer tastes, most prominently a novel protein coffee line crafted with a creamy, dairy-based protein milk instead of powder, promising a smooth texture both hot and iced. Seasonal menus also drove record-setting sales, blending nostalgic favorites with new creations that energized the brand’s guest base.
Alongside product success, Beans & Brews garnered significant industry recognition, earning spots on the prestigious Franchise Times Top 400 list, QSR's Top 50 Contenders, and QSR's Best Brands to Work For. This internal culture was celebrated at the brand's inaugural "Family Reunion" franchise conference, an event that highlighted the collaborative, family-oriented atmosphere central to its community of owners.
For over three decades, Beans & Brews has built its reputation on exceptional coffee and friendly service within a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere. What began in a Salt Lake valley has now grown to over 89 locations across seven states, with an impressive pipeline of 112 more in development, positioning the company for continued dynamic growth in the years ahead.
