Cecafé representatives also participated in a meeting with Fávaro and Instituto Pensar Agro (IPA) entities, in the office of the new Minister of Agriculture, to discuss the central points of the sector and how to build bridges for an even greater development of Brazilian agriculture. “The doubt, at this moment, is to understand the new Ministry of Agriculture and, from the point of view of the new structure of the Pasta, where, for example, the debates regarding the resources destined to the sector will be centralized” said Matos.
He concludes that, as the official representative of the coffee export sector in Brazil, accounting, with its 122 associates, for around 96% of total shipments to more than 120 countries, Cecafé will continue to exercise its institutional role of incessant defense of the segment and search for better development and evolution of Brazilian exporters, as well as the coffee agribusiness as a whole.
