The topic of sustainability is taking up more and more space. Through the new cooperation partner "Travel with senses", at the Dortmunder Erlebnismanufaktur, every holiday is climate-neutral or 100 percent CO2 compensated program. In addition, 51 percent of the travel price stays in the travel destination – which helps the local population.

Tchibo is a German chain of coffee retailers and cafés known for its range of non-coffee products that change weekly. The latter includes: clothing, furniture, household items, electronics and electrical appliances. In Germany, Tchibo's slogan is "Every week a new world" (German: Jede Woche eine neue Welt). Tchibo has further expanded its product range to sell services such as travel, insurance, and mobile-phone contracts.

The company offers a popular classic travel destination for its loyal guests, the wellness hotel "Mein Almhof" in Nauders (Tyrol) at an altitude of 1400 meters. Tchibo customers can stay in the 4-star superior hotel for three nights at a last-minute price from EUR 249 per person. The highlight is the 4000 square meter panoramic sky pool with a view of the mountain peaks.

Crazy family hotel in Salzburger Land:

"TaNte FriDa" from 269 euros Another big hit is the brand new "Family Hotel TaNte FriDa" on the Hochkönig in Salzburger Land. There are three nights with All Inclusive Light from 269 euros per person. Here, space, forest bathing and jungle rooms ensure a good mood for young and old guests. On the daily program: wood burning in the craft room, herb hikes and yoga for kids.
Lüneburg Heath: short break with free massage from 129 euros

Longing for Erika? Then off to the Lüneburg Heath with Tchibo. The Best Western Premier Castanea Resort Hotel is on the outskirts of the old salt town of Lüneburg, beautifully situated in the countryside. Tchibo is offering two nights including breakfast in the 4-star superior hotel from EUR 129 per person. Included is the use of the wellness area, the in-house salt grotto and a hydromassage.
Tchibo customers also receive a 25-euro shopping voucher for the online shop.

Julia Günther, Head of Travel Product & Marketing said “Our customers are attaching more and more importance to environmentally friendly, conscious travel. With our sustainability selection, we are on the right track to fulfilling this wish.” Tchibo also wants to expand the area of service. There has been a dedicated customer center since 2012. Günther added “Travelling is more relaxed with a reliable partner at your side. Whether before, during or after the trip: we are there for our customers with our own service team.”
And if you want to go where the coffee grows - Tchibo has something for that in the program too. For example trips to Mexico or the Dominican Republic and with plenty of coffee flair, of course.
Tchibo was founded in 1949 in Hamburg by Max Herz and Carl Tchilinghiryan, and still maintains its headquarters in the north of the city. The name Tchibo is an abbreviation for Tchiling and Bohnen. During its formative years, Tchibo concentrated on a mail-order service of freshly roasted coffee beans, processed in the company's own roasting facility in the Hamburg district of Hoheluft.
